Melissa and Kim Kerr are the owners of Rock Star Pet Supplies & Gifts.  We have always had pets in our family from dogs and cats to hamsters, toads and snakes. With Melissa's talent with animals and Kim's business skills, we make a great mother/daughter team!

Melissa has degrees in Zoology and Psychology from the University of Wyoming.  She also studied marine biology at the University of Hawaii-Manoa.  Melissa was a zookeeper working with birds, reptiles, sea lions and even insects.  She has professional experience working in many aspects of the pet industry including boarding facilities, doggie daycare, veterinary clinics, in-home pet care and dog walking. Since 2014, she has owned and operated Rock Star Pets Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services. She is excited to bring her expertise in pet care to the retail world and has a passion for bringing the highest quality products and providing small animal boarding services to pet parents of the Hawaiian islands.

Kim is the business side of Rock Star Pet Supplies & Gifts.  With over 20 years experience as a paralegal and office manager, 16 years experience running her own retail fabric store, and 8 years of co-owning Rock Star Pets Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services with Melissa, Kim can handle all aspects of the business and leave Melissa free to focus on product selection, boarding, and customer service!
